Maria brings a unique blend of academic and industry experience to her advisory work. As Chief Learning Officer at United Airlines, Maria delivered best-in-class learning experiences to support the company’s vision of becoming the biggest and best airline in the history of aviation. She led the design of talent pipelines and learning solutions to onboard 50,000 employees over five years. Maria’s work significantly elevated United’s capability to scale, perform, and lead in a complex, global industry.

As Executive Director of Executive Education at both Carnegie Mellon’s Tepper School of Business and Penn State’s Smeal College of Business, she collaborated with leading faculty and research centers to create interdisciplinary programs that helped clients integrate emerging technologies—such as AI, digital transformation, robotics, and cybersecurity—to drive disruption and transformation.

Maria served as Director of Learning Solutions at Raytheon Professional Services, where she built and managed multi-million dollar portfolios in technical training, talent development, and leadership pipeline strategy for Raytheon and client organizations.
