John has been working with high performance organizations in the Fortune 500 and higher, health care systems, higher education, national sports organizations and branches of the military for 25 years. With a focus on tactical leadership, rapid learning and team development for performance improvement. His approaches are based on the latest research evidence drawn from across industries, delivered creatively to build performance value for clients.

John has delivered value through varied change initiatives and integrated skills for clients including: 

  • Leading a global Olympic Games performance review focused on the role and impact of leadership in all performance domains,presenting findings and recommendations to senior leadership
  • Standing up a four-year national multi-site sport performance enhancement program
  • Leading a national learning collaborative to implement change to improve chronic care across multiple health systems
  • Establishing a teacher training program for 200 college instructors and professors at a top 50 Research University

John is a former national team rugby player and head coach. John was a sports psychology consultant for different countries at two Rugby World Cups, one Pan American Games, The Vancouver and Rio Olympic Games. John brings his experience in elite sport to his work with clients. John lives in Chicago, Illinois with his family.
