Carol Fabrizio

Principal

Carol is a consultant, facilitator, and executive coach with over 15 years of experience in a number of industries, including hospitality & tourism, outdoor recreation, professional services, and land use. Before consulting, Carol served as an attorney at Gibson Dunn; in-house counsel, Chief of Staff, and VP of Communications & Marketing Operations for Vail Resorts; and Chief Communications & Marketing Officer for a major sports organization. Carol holds a BA and JD from the University of Southern California and is an ICF-certified professional coach.  

Carol has worked with executive leaders and their teams to:

  • Create long-term vision and organizational values, strategic communications plans, and other mission-driven growth goals; 
  • Improve team cohesion, communication, and culture; 
  • Develop strong interpersonal and leadership skills (emotional intelligence, executive presence, unique leadership voice)
  • Led cross-functional cultural transformations both in a public company and in a highly-visible nonprofit
  • Served as the first Chief of Staff to the CEO in a rapidly-growing, consumer-driven company 

In addition to her work, Carol is a mom, athlete, community builder, and entrepreneur. She co-owns Helm Coffee Roasters with her wife (and Olympian) Jillion Potter, where they host community support efforts to support new parents and the LGBTQ+ community. They live together in Indianapolis with their two small children and two rescue dogs, and spend most of their time trying to be active and outdoors.
